# Privacy Policy
**Last updated: August 15, 2026**
Seal Now, LLC (“SealNow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides mobile and remote online notarization services in Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or booking a service with us, you agree to the practices described here.
## Information We Collect
**Information you provide directly.** When you contact us, book an appointment, or complete a notarization, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, mailing or service address, and the documents you ask us to notarize.
**Identity verification information.** Florida law requires notaries to verify the identity of every signer. Depending on the service, this may include a copy or image of your government-issued ID, knowledge-based authentication answers, and, for remote online notarization (RON), a recording of the notarization session itself, including audio, video, and your electronic signature.
**Session recordings.** For RON appointments, the audio-visual recording of your session is created and retained by our remote online notarization platform provider, in accordance with Florida Statute § 117.245, which requires these recordings to be retained for a minimum of 10 years. We do not separately store copies of this recording ourselves beyond what is needed to complete your notarization.
**Payment information.** If you pay online, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number.
**Website usage information.** Like most websites, ours may automatically collect standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, typically through analytics tools.
## How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
– Verify your identity as required by Florida notary law
– Schedule and complete your notarization
– Communicate with you about your appointment
– Maintain the notarial records Florida law requires us to keep
– Process payment for services
– Improve our website and services
– Comply with legal obligations
## How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
– With RON platform providers and identity verification services, solely to complete your notarization
– With payment processors, solely to process payment
– With lenders, title companies, or attorneys you’ve directed us to work with for a specific signing
– When required by law, such as in response to a subpoena or court order, or a request from the Florida Department of State
## Data Retention
Florida law requires notaries to maintain a journal of notarial acts, and RON providers must retain audio-visual recordings of remote sessions for at least 10 years from the date of the notarization. We retain other information, such as contact details, only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law.
## Your Choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete information we are not legally required to retain. Because Florida law requires notaries to keep certain records regardless of a deletion request, we may not be able to delete everything you ask us to.
## Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including relying on RON platforms and payment processors that maintain their own industry-standard security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
## Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
## Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
