★★★★★

I use to dread notarizing paperwork and that all changed on my first session with Seal Now. Roland made a tedious process so easy and I never left my couch. Smooth and time efficient! I loved it!

Questions

Good to know.

A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID is required for every signer at every appointment.

Yes. Florida law requires the signer to appear before the notary, either in person for a mobile signing or live on video for remote online notarization. A power of attorney doesn't allow someone else to sign or appear in their place.

Wherever works for you, home, office, hospital, hotel, or a closing location, anywhere within Miami-Dade or Broward.

Remote online notarization is $25 per notarial act, Florida's statutory rate. Mobile visits add a travel fee based on distance, and loan or specialty signings are quoted based on the package. We'll confirm your total before your appointment is booked.

Many documents qualify, but not all. Send yours over ahead of time and we'll let you know.

Usually, but not always. Some countries and institutions still require wet-ink signatures or additional authentication like an apostille, and acceptance can vary by receiving country. If your document is headed abroad, check with the receiving institution first, or ask us, we're happy to help you sort it out.

Most single-document signings take a matter of minutes. Larger packages, like closings, take longer.

Online sessions are often available same-day. Mobile visits take a bit more coordinating since they're tied to travel time, but we keep evening and weekend slots open specifically for last-minute needs.

There's no charge to cancel or reschedule right now. We just ask for as much notice as you can give so we can offer that time to someone else.

Your photo ID and the unsigned document. Please don't sign beforehand, we're required to witness the signature.

Before an online session begins, your identity is checked against your ID and a set of knowledge-based verification questions. The session itself is a live, encrypted video call that's recorded and retained for at least 10 years, as Florida law requires, and the finished document carries a tamper-evident digital seal.

Every Florida notary's commission is public record and searchable through the Florida Department of State's Notary Search. Seal Now's notary is Florida-commissioned, bonded, insured, and NNA certified.

Seal Now is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. This information is general in nature and availability may vary by appointment and location.
